I finally figured out how to grow this new flower. Because the potting soil was poor. After changing the soil and better cultivation, all the flowers this year are formal double. In slightly dehydrated situation last two years, the flower shape would be often smaller and distorted.

Teaflower,
This flower is very striking with the yellow deep down inside the flower. What can you tell us about this plant? Is it a hybrid? Parentage? Origin? I would like to know more.

This plant is of C. japonica. The flower is small. The mother plant was Ken Halltone's M32 seedling which is a rather small flower, center petal vein yellow with uneven and messy petals. M32 X Brushfield's yellow to produce this new seedling. There is no mistake the center of this flower is considerably yellow.

Teaflower,
This is very interesting knowing that it is completely C. japonica. I really like this one.
