Description: I finally figured out how to grow this new flower. Because the potting soil was poor. After changing the soil and better cultivation, all the flowers this year are formal double. In slightly dehydrated situation last two years, the flower shape would be often smaller and distorted.

Description: A new seedling, medium to large in anemone form. All the outer petal portion has deeper pink. The outer petals show occasional pink streaks. The center part of all petals show pale coloration. Shall evaluate more flowers next year. After two days, the flower measured at 4&1/2 inches, no gibbing. It has 25% of reti. The color was getting slightly lighter as the flower aged. The outer petals showed slightly waved appearance later.

Description: This small fragrant flower is one of my early year seedlings produced by D2(1)X 'High Fragrance'. It won the Fragrant Seedling Award at Redwood City, possibly in 1997. I happened to check my camellia plants one by one. This one was in bloom. The fragrance profile is very similar to HF and level, slightly less. No intention to propagate it.

Description: This camellia species grows at Omei Mountains in Sichuan Province. It was found at 1,600 meter elevation or 4,800 feet. It is considered to be cold hardy. The flower is measured at 3 & 1/2 inches in diameter, nice looking. Without further breeding, it is ready for home planting in colder area. The color is actually red, not deep red.

Description: This picture of seedling is already posted on this web. But this full picture shows two flowers. The lower flower has a two flower formation on one single pedicel. This plant possibly has a tendency to do so. It is held for further evaluation.
